Tadiran Coral 449225100 RSIM0-3 Remote Shelf Interface Master Card (Refurbished)

The RSIM card provides the Master end of a Remote Shelf fiber optic link at the Coral III/4GC Main cabinet. Four variations of the RSIM support single or redundant links over single-mode or multi-mode telecommunications grade fiber cables. Each Remote Shelf link supplies control and timing signals and 128 PCM timeslots to a remote Coral I-R, Coral II-R, or Coral III Expansion cabinet. The RSIM can be installed in any Shared Service or Peripheral Interface card slot in the Main cabinet or a Ex Expansion cabinet adjacent to the Main cabinet. Each Remote Shelf link also requires an RSIA card installed on the backplane behind the RSIM to accept highway cables from the Group Controller, and an RSIS Card in the remote cabinet.
